no, really, can't she just get it over with? is there a more sappy, self indulgent, maudlin, affectatiously (i think i may have just invented a word) drowning-in-your-own-pathos/misery singer around at this moment? every time i turn on the radio, i hear nora jones about to slit her wrists. but then she DOESN'T. come on! just get it over with.

you want to fall in love with a musician who has talent? look up peter rowan's cold rain and snow and observe his string bass player.

She may not be your type of musician, but I can assure you that she is extremely talented.

I always liked her dad's music and have a collection of Indian classical music played by him. First heard him sometime in the early 1960's.

Her voice is like a harmonica.

I wore out several CDS

Her new one isnt quite as good, but thats just the way things go I guess.

I like her music too. The one I can't stand is John Mayer he should play guitar but let someone else sing

Sinkin' Soon is from her third album, Not Too Late. I have the cd/dvd edition and it is great.

I love her voice and the type of songs she sings but in this case I think it was the trombone work by J. Walter Hawkes that prompted me to buy the Album.

I like Nora.
Give her time and she will come up with some material worthy of herself.
I saw her and Willie do a (I think) Waylon song that was the best I've seen from her.
I don't like to watch her perform to the whims of choreographers and producers like a trained monkey. She's too good for that!
