Did everyone experience a severe drop in charter costumers during the Great Recession? Our "occupancy" on Dalia plunged following the failure of Lehman to something like 30% of what we used to have, and still hasn't recovered, despite our having lowered rates.
In a related question, are there places in the Caribbean or the Med where a foreign-flag vessel can run charters? Sometimes I think we have the wrong boat in the wrong place... :(

Sport fishing charters dropped dramatically in SE Alaska. In large part due to a drop in number of cruise ship dockings, and cheaper cruise passengers.

Boy... that'd be a hell of change for someone that's gotten quite used to living in Brazil I bet.;):D

Maine would be a hell of a change, all right, although Silvana spent a year there doing her PhD. Kind of a short charter season, though. I was thinking more like Antigua or Mikonos... ;)
