"United States President, Barack Obama, told the Time Magazine that he made a mistake when he had high expectations for Middle East peace, and added that both Israel and the Palestinians are not willing to make bold gestures to achieve peace"

Amazing that he actually believed the hype about his own powers.

Amazing that he actually believed the hype about his own powers.

Seems a bit naive of both him and his fervant supporters to think he was going to somehow bring people with diametrically opposed positions together.

All of this, however, may work out well. Let us hope he has a fast learning curve and takes the proper lessons from his first year.

Every president since (at least) Carter has thought he could solve the Israeli-Palestinian problem.

Oh well.

Oh well.I believe in the current case, the analysis was that a large part of the [current] problems had to do with the previous administration pretty much ignoring the Israel:Palestine problem for the better part of a decade, whilst overtly supporting, funding and arming Israel.

What we have here is a President that isn't afraid to speak truth to power.
You should all be very proud of him.

We had a Secretary of Defense, not long ago, who was convinced, or so he said, that the liberation of Iraq would only cost $4 billion and Iraqi oil revenue would pick up the rest.
What ever became of that guy?
