Anyone have an ABI Smoke Head?

Does anyone out there have one of these discontinued (along with all ABI stuff) smoke heads?

The screw in deck plate that I can stand on while working around the mast might solve my stove installation dilemma but I'm concerned that it's back draft prevention performance may not produce good results with the Dickenson diesel Newport heater I'm contemplating.

There is one locally I can buy. Being discontinued is a concern because it would be a bummer to lose it overboard but I would probably install an eyestrap and chain and be very, very careful.

A lot of the ABI stuff is really nice. It seems a shame they shut down.

I think I would go for it. And attach an eye strap. In the long run most things would get discontinued sooner or later if you need to find a replacement.

I had one on IVY. It worked ok. I was not made of the best bronze, but it was better than stain a little less steel.

Thad...Just to clarify because I think you were referring to the other/previous posting...I don't believe you have a Shipmate Liverpool smoke hood...We just started offering them after they had been in remission for the past 50 years.
