That is got to be the worst kind of repair!

That is a shot of a 55 foot Carver that was being delivered in the Arab Emirates (if memory serves) about four years ago. It was secured on the deck of a Dutch? container ship, and as it was being lowered the sling gave way, ripping the underwater mechanicals off the hull. Surprisingly, there were two people aboard, and they survived with little injury. The boat owner had not taken possession of the boat at this point, so it was on the shipping line to make it right. There was no video, just still pictures.
