I liked the photos.
You had to get up early and suffer for those photos!
I wonder why boat owners do not put a tarp over the boat?
Would that cause problems?

In the case of the FORTUNA in the last pic it is the classic problem of a boat owned by an institution (Children & Youth Relief Organisation) with an educator in charge.

Not only have they paid the absurd sum of 200.000€ for this boats restoration (the boat was once owned by the Museumharbour, but we gave it away to the Museum Boatyard, which obviously was able to cheat on their client and sold the boat), but also they had problems with the people in charge of sailing the boat. Apparently those old salts refused to discuss sailing issues with the kids and the educator, who demanded democratic behaviour regarding the boat handling :(

Apart from that most of the other boats don't need a cover and the snow is a perfect isolator:
