Did anyone see this ad in Messing About In Boats? The text says: Providing space, tools, materials, and advice for the amateur or professional boat builder.

Looks pretty cool to me. Anyone know these people?

Looks like a nice idea, however their 10 - 5 hours Tues through Sunday kind of limits use to those who are free those hours. Too bad they can't have evening hours, but I guess they need to have someone there to supervise. I've only heard of them recently. I'd be curious to see how long they've been in business. One good point is that going this route would encourage one to finish the boat fairly rapidly.

I have seen the shop. I stumbled across it about a month ago. It is a nice space with lots of room and plenty of tools. The guy who runs the shop will let me work there for $10 per day. Perfect for me because I don't have a shop, basement, or backyard. I am renovating my boat in the slip a few miles down the road. I intend to work on my hatches, cabinets, etc. there this winter. It will beat my rusty table saw on the dock experience of last winter.
