in life that make you happy.

Today my 55 yo 10" bandsaw got a new TEFC motor. Picked up the motor brand new for pennies on the dollar. Cost a fraction of what it would have cost to have the original motor rebuilt after the smoke came out.

Saw is happy again, and I figure I am good for another 50 years or so.

Doesn't take much to make me happy.:)

We had a bandsaw our neighbor bought at Sears cica WWI. Never needed anything but blades, which had to be custom made. Fortunately, there was a place nearbuy that made them, and they were cheaper than the standard blades.

Strange thing about the bandsaw: absolutely no place to lubricate it.

I couldn't bring it with me or sell it, or give it away, so it went to the junk pile.
