No not Santie, Bob the builder!.

My wife is a foist grade teecher, Asked me to give the boys a Christmas gift.
Being a BOB and a builder i went as Bob the Builder with my hard hat and a tool set i bought for each boy{the goils got Puzzles and teddy bears}.
My wife overheard Dylan telling the other boys.
See i TOLD you he was real!!!.
They asked me about Episodes which Bob the builder had big parts and i agree even though i have NEVER seen Bob the Builder.
Still all in all its better then being sponge Bob square pants.
I wuz a big hit!.
Or maybe the gummy bear candies i brought?.
Still Everyone was pleased that i read a story and a good time was had by all..

Jennifer was on to me though she said im really MR S but i replied i really yam named Bob and really yam a builder although Im "in between" jobs at the present time..

My point if i had one was with all the talents here a visit to a school would go over big if you contacted a Teacher.

The boys are starving for any sort of tool talk..

Last year i gave diplomas out for pre carpenters after they went through a work station.

Draw a line with a square, Drive a screw, hit a nail in, Use a battery saw{no Blade} use a hammer staple tacker, etc.

I was very surprised the girls loved it to.

Many have no Dads around at all {very sad}. .

I have done this every year for 6 years my wife says the older kids now in 6th grade still talk about it..

Thanks, Bob. Don't be surprised about the girls, though. And don't exclude them from the whole thing.

And give them tool kits for Christmas too.

But most of all, remember to teach them that not every problem is a nail, even if you have a hammer in your hand.

Hey, the other guy is real too. Here he is blowing off some steam at the roller rink last Sunday...

My youngest daughter brought more tools into her marriage, and more knowlege about using them than her husband did.

When she enrolled in Middle School Shop class the Counselor resisted, saying that class was for boys. My daughter told her to not make her call her mother. She got an "A" in Shop, but now teaches HS Chemistry.

Persrpective does funny things Kaa, I happen to know the jolly fellow on skates weighs 278 pounds.

Still doesn't capture his ample girth:

Can we fix it? YES WE CAN! :D

Of course he looks like he has a pipe wrench and a couple of lathe tools in his belt - sort of an odd combination, which could cause trouble if he bends over.

And we can't forget Wendy.
