Hard to imagine that the Cambodians or Vietnamese will be too happy about the prospect of Laos damming the Me Kong unless it only regulates flow moderately, in which case fish populations may not be affected too much. Interesting to consider too how a downstream dam could be built to handle the high level of silt in the Me Kong. Rick
