Many of us have seen some unique uses for old worn out boats that may not still be suited for work or even seaworthy but somebody figures out how to make a sign or a planter, perchance a shed out them and the ship sails on.
Here is the last command I was attached to. This old boat is now forever dry docked and lives on as Gilligans Restaurant in Lewes Delaware.
If you are down beach in Delaware you should check this unpretentious little place out. I worked there when they first opened up and they have made it for several years against the odds.
Anyway, I was in town for a visit and took a picture or two of my last command. The kitchen is in the pilothouse.
