Does anyone know the work of Scottish naval architect A G Skidmore. I have become interested in some of his designs and am wondering if complete plans for some of his boats exist. At this point I am starting with very little information, and really anything about him would help. What was the name of his firm? Is he still living, and so forth. He designed yachts in wood, sometimes cold molded, for both sail and power. One of his cutter designs is a contemporary (for the time) re-design of the English pilot cutter. Generally they were hardy boats, built for cold and rough water.
Thanks,
Robert
