Googling around I was reading about Nissans new world minicar that's going to be built in China, India and Thailand. Funny how the next wave of mini cars show up after an energy crisis announces itself with price spikes.

Paul, how about this? I took pottery and landscaping at the local community college. Looking at the picture of it make me think of the Geo Metro, and the Honda CVCC that showed up after the two previous gas spikes. The thing with this one is that it's a part of an expanded auto culture in the China and India

We have an old Isuzu( trooper) relegated to boat truck/ I don't have a trailer status. I was using that as a platform the other day, to cut the hedge.

I didn't think there was room for another microcar considering all the micros Tata is cranking out.

GTI is my all time favorite small car, and the most fun to drive of the lot. Although I admit by comparison to, for example, the Yaris or Fit, the GPM is not quite as good. Still...I am absolutely bonkers over mine. Best car I have ever owned so far in respect to the total package. Again, admitted it is a price and fuel burn class away fron the cars you guys are talking about. But not so far in respect to running economy that I don't feel comfortable mentioning it.

For an AWD version of that kind of thing, check out the Suzuki SX4 (hatch, NOT sedan). I love mine!
