Seven inches. Less where it makes good ground contact, like the road and driveway. The snow plow ridge at the end of the driveway didn't even need shoveling. Just drive on through. Still, winter's here.

I put a sign up 'SNOWING PROHIBITED"

It's worked surprisingly well. What little snow we've gotten has fallen at night. Guess I need to illuminate the sign.

THe trees on the back ridge are just high enough to block the view of Mt Sunapee ski Area.

True.

It is lovely, but the guy who termed it a "winter wonderland" must not have had to go out in it or shovel it.

We had snowfall in Chattanooga when I woke up yesterday. Sure glad we got the central heat and air in for the wife and kid.

If you notice it also has a heat unit in it. A cracked combustion chamber in the old kept it kind of cold in the house.

The sun is out here and it is shining on an inch or so of snow. Not as pretty as the scenes ChaseKenyon and rbgarr posted, but still quite nice to look at (and even be out in, in my opinion!).

A bad photo just taken through a door insert I made yesterday from scrap wood and plastic sheeting. Next year we'll get a real storm door.

The sun is melting the stuff fast now so it will probably be all gone by tomorrow on this hillside.

My anchor line is out getting bleached by the sun. :)

Yeah. Snow. Bah-f'n-humbug.

What doesn't help is the electrics in my plow frame catching fire yesterday... grrr...

Yesterday,I finished the metal work on the truck plow conversion for my wee loader.
At 7'6",it's 18" wider than the bucket and has power angle,soooo....
I can't wait for a good snow fall,to see how the plow, and my welding, stays together.

I feel for you poor buggers, it's 8.38am and it's already creeping up though the 20s and expected to hit 35c today.
Me, being smug? Never! :D
