Hello Guys

Years ago I read a very nice series of books written by an English lady (an aristocrat but not that she mentioned or made anything of it) who undertook a series of single-handed cruises to Europe (from Britain) in what I recall was a folkboat.

Can't now recall who it was or the titles and want to find them for a young guy here - any ideas ??

Cheers - Foster

Maybe Lady Rozelle Raynes, "North in a Nutshell". I have a copy and one or two of her other books.

From abebooks.com:

The "Nutshell" in this book is Martha McGilda, a 25-ft Folkboat, in which Lady Rozelle Raynes and her husband made a 1,500mile voyage on the coasts of 7 countries to just north of Bergen. Near Fine book without inscription in an intact dust wrapper protected in a plastic cover. Bookseller Inventory # 035072

There are many other books by her, but none I think match the spec. I believe she is still extant and living in Limehouse, London.
