I'm not looking for a yacht, just a small sailboat between 16 to 19 feet. I learned to sail on small lakes in PA. and don't want to get something to big to handle.

The problem is, I can't find anyone on the web who rents small boats! Every site is 25 to 65 plus...

Please leave me some sites or phone numbers of businesses around Mt Desert island.

Thank you,

Butch

You planning on frostbiting or waiting till after the spring thaw? The odds vary slightly on the season.

In Bernard, June is the fog season.

I'd like to keep it around $100 per day. Is the fog in the morning or afternoon?

My recollection of that part of the coast in June is that there's fog in the AM maybe one day out of two, and that maybe one day per week is a dead loss because of fog.

Mansell Boat Rental Co is in Manset, near Southwest Harbor (actually right next to the Hinckley yard). We've rented a Rhodes 19 from them several times. Have fun!
