I especially appreciated Webb's first two books, about his Drascombe Lugger and his sailing exploits, jailed by the Saudis etc...a very good read. It is amazing what he accomplished in that simple little boat.

Soap becomes less inportant if one cruises on your own... What I enjoyed about about ' My old man and the sea' was the bit about " If you don't wash plates between courses, why wash them between meals?" A dose of Montazuma's revenge ditched that theory.
