Thanks for the post of the Wakulla County Model Bow Skiff. I live in neighboring Leon county and someday I'd like to get at look at the hand-built replica in Panacea. A friend of mine got a license for pulling up old growth cypress and pine logs from a river nearby. I've wondered about what kind of boat you could build from cypress planks and now I know. Thanks again.

I would probably cheat and use power tools.;)

Thanks for posting that. Quite an interesting boat ... I'd love to see someone document it in detail, with lines and offsets and construction details.
