Hi...just like to share with my imaginary friends around the world the news that here downunder in NZ the school year has just finished and my son Daniel has finished year 13 and will be off to University in 2010. I have included some photos so I can also share the news that he recieved the Certificates for top Academic student and was DUX for Northland College for 2009.
He has always been a good hard-working son so we all are very proud of his achievements.

Super! Wonderful! Teenagers keeping it together in the face of the mess the world is in are a great gift.

Fabulous. What's he planning on doing?
Thanks...he has been accepted by 3 Institutions where he applied for entry next year and now has to decide which of these to take.
He has been given the choices of courses to take as well, as he applied for Engineering (Civil), Business and Law..........and been accepted for all 3.
I think he is leaning towards the Engineering as his main preference.
He has to decide by mid January.
Thankyou all for your best wishes...........and it is good indeed to see young people planning for their future. There were 16 in his final year at school and 14 of them are going on to University and the other 2 going to a trade school.
