I chartered another schooner once, in the BVI. I also had to crew, there were only three aboard. A lovely and essential vacation.

Best be careful when you sign up for a "volunteer" crew, keep a weather eye as they say.

You would think that someone with a university education would take one look at RF and run in the opposite direction. Why would you need a bachelors degree to be a cook or deckhand on RF anyway?

Our serviceman are committed, and work harder than most, they only need a HS diploma. Frankly, if I want hard workers, I don't think "college degree".
