I have posted free plans for several small craft.....with a caveat....
Postage etc.....
The plans are free....however.....the postal department does not deliver or pick up mail at my residence, and sometimes I cannot drive to pick up the mail or send mail at the post office. I rely on 2-3 people that visit for various reasons (usually the doggy walker) to pick up my mail and drop it off on the way out. This only happens 2 and sometimes 3 days each week. When I offer something I ask the person to send an appropriate sized envelope with sufficient postage. From past experience I know what the package will weigh. Someone that sends a 5 X 7 envelope with $1 postage ain't gonna hack it for several sheets of blueprints and a booklet with 100 pages of drawings and text at 8 1/2 X 11 inches.
A good example is several e-mails from a person in Brazil....(no one on the forum that posts regularly) asking for copies of a paper I wrote on LED's and solar power applications etc and the design for the controller......That document is 50 pages long with the drawings, charts etc, and I had a few dozen printed with a heavy cover and back, and a clear plastic cover and edge binding.....It will never fit the 5 X 7 envelope and sure as all heck ain't agonna go to Brazil with $1 postage......
Please use a little common sense.
