Thank you Dingo, et al. Holly and I had a boy, Linus, on October 22. He's happy and healthy and growing at a great clip--a pound per week, so far. (Scaled for me, I reckon that would be about 30 lbs per week.) Particulars at birth: 7 lbs, 6 oz; 20 1/4".

He's already been for a sail--a short outing on Castine Harbor before we downrigged Navigatrix for the season.

Sleep schmeep. Bliss and adrenaline are filling that need.

Here he is at age 36 hours. Alert little fellow, isn't he!
