An outfit called "Angler Craft" used to make a beautiful fishing boat based on the "Blue-Dunn" or "Blue-Dun" flyfishing skiff. I can't seem to find information on either one now. Does anyone have any leads I could follow up on? It was a god awful beautiful craft they made. Thanks.

I'm not sure about that craft, but you may want to check out the Freestone Skiff from Montana Boatbuilders (http://www.montanaboatbuilders.com/driftboats_freestoneskiff.htm#).
Perhaps I'm partial because I'm from Montana, but Jason really disigns great boats and his plans are wonderful. I recently built one of his Freeston 15' Guide drift boats and I love it! The Skiff is very stable, easy to row, and has lots of great features.
Cheers!

I remember seeing it reviewed in fishing mags, and it was a honey. Google leads me nowhere. It appears that Angler's Craft is no longer.
PS..it's Blue Dun. It's named after a famous trout dry fly:

I did what I thought was a thorough search, and there's barely any sign of them on the web. That's rare. You can usually dredge up an old magazine article or such. My hunch is that they sold the design and gear off to somebody else, who re-named the boat.
Start Googling for fly fishing skiffs, and I'll bet you find it at a different manufacturer.

All good thoughts. Thanks everyone.
Brian,
I really liked the craft as well and produced one that had similar lines. I use it for fly fishing all the time. If you are interested in looking at one with cabinets and nice decks, try the site innerbay (http://www.innerbayboats.com)
That Blue Dunn line of boats was an inspiration and it's too bad if they are not still in business.
