The filming of Jack London's classic in the 2nd round.

In the early 80s there was already a highly famed TV production and now the new little series is out (2 movies). Over here this has caused much controversys, because people like the old version much better (isn't it always so...). Especially the leading actor from the late production Raimund Harmstorf seems to have portrayed the ruthless captain Wolf Larsen more enigmatic than the current wussy Thomas Kretschmann, but perhaps this is a sign of the times...

Hallo Martin, lange nichts von Ihnen gehört!

Haven't watched the TV films, but I like the idea of filming in a warm climate even if the scenes are supposed to be in the cold.

The quote of the day: "... I like like seeing the big fishes -- like porpoises ...":D
