Some time ago (more than a few years) I remember seeing a brigantine advertised for sale online on Yachtworld.com or something like that. I'm pretty sure it was wooden if I remember correctly (so it's all kosher with the woodenboat forum). I don't remember much else about it except that I think it had the word "Falcon" in the name or a silhouette of one on one of the sails and I believe it was 42' long. If you know of a brigantine that meets this description, or something like it, or if you should happen to own this vessel, please post pictures or any information you can think of.

There were a few brigantine-styled vessels built by the designer of Royaliste. All 46' privateer hulls were offered either as a ketch, brigantine, or schooner rig. Buyer's choice. All Rosborough did was relocate the masts as necessary. None of these 'great age of sailing' designs were meant to win any races, so location was a matter of preference. We're thought over converting to a brigantine stlye (this year actually) but with the economy as it is, I see no benefit from a retrofit right now. If you are energetic, and handy at making spars and yards, we are listing ours soon....

Its funny you should mention Rosborough boats. I actually just came into a lot of information on them and two of them used to sail near where I live in boston. The boat I remember was more "modern-classic" like Fritha rather than "Great Age of Sail" like the Rosboroughs. If it weren't for Fritha's impressive 74' length I could almost say that she is the mystery boat of my memory. But alas no, I am still in search...
