Several years ago (1970) I bought a 36 + Alden Yawl named Adventure. She was built sometime in the 1930's, I believe somewhere near Long Island Sound. She was docked in Deltaville or Reedsville VA when I bought her and I sailed her to Seaford VA, just off the mouth of the York River.
I am embarrassed to say how little I knew about boats in general and how badly I treated her. I sold her in 1972. I heard that she continued to sail in the lower Chesapeake area. She does not appear in the Wooden Boat Registry.
Does anyone know anything about this beautiful wooden boat: what happened to her, does she still exist, where she is now? Any information would be appreciated.
