More bragging here, but Dave continues to amaze me with the cabinet-grade carpentry involved in fabricating the new floors.

This one is #14 or 15 of approximately 30 he plans to replace, and he's done at least one more since I took this picture.

The word fast is seldom used around boat projects, but things really are moving along at a decent clip. I have the day off tomorrow and he's set to steam frames. If things go per the "best case scenaro" plan, Sarah will have at least three new frames by this time tomorrow

My hat's off to Dave!

WAIT -- MY GOD, THE GLARE!

Hat's back on.

Congrats, though. Nice work!

Beautiful work. It shows a lot of love and care when you go to the trouble of making your floors so perfectly.

All of the above!

One question, though. Are you like me and keep all of the old parts laying around? I'm strangely sentimental about my old boat, and have a tough time throwing it's old parts out. Seems almost sacreligious. I've got a piece of mast, keel, floors, planks, and on and on. Even have an original sailbag, holes and all. I saw your floor pile in your photo and thought that maybe I'm not the only one.

Very nice. Yellow Pine?

Isn't it great to be putting things together, rather than taking them apart?
