Rgbarr is correct, he's adjusting the leach line on ELENA'S jib. ELENA is the new replica Herreshoff schooner built in Spain and is a near sister ship to ELEONORA. Le Voiles de St. Tropez was the first full regatta ELENA and ELEONORA matched up. I fail to remember a more tense situation than jockeying for position on a starting line in 200+ ton schooners or a more satisfying situation after winning the start. ELENA finished ahead of ELEONORA in all six races. A tribute to the crew and after guard as I believe the boat speeds are closely matched. We had about 55 race crew on ELENA
