I want to make those here who heat their shop with a waste oil furnace aware that if you have a 265 gallon oil tank full of diesel drain oil next to it and one of the legs on the tank collapses on a Saturday night you will have a hell of a mess to clean up on Sunday. :(

Thanks for the warning, I will go and look over my heating oil tank right now. Sorry about your troubles. That must be quite a mess...

Hey Alteran - I am assuming that you have a concrete slab, If so there are commercial grade citrus based degreasers that you can use. They are about $100. for 5 gallons, the one I use smells like oranges, very strong, but better then diesel fuel. Pour it on and let it sit for about half an hour and then use about a 3000 p.s.i. power washer, you may have to do it twice with such a mess. But it will clean the slab up and make the place smell a lot better. Check with your local concrete companies, concrete tool supply's and commercial janitorial companies. Do avoid getting this on your hands, it will degrease your skin right now. Good luck hope this helps.
