Hello again. I got this far. Aircooled engine, 5 HP, aligned with transmission aligned with propellor shaft but not firmly bolted down yet to the floor timbers. I have been thinking and looking and talking about the most pratical exhaust system. I have given up on a cooled system. Is too complicated for this little boat. So one can go up like a truck, sideways through the hull,(that needs a large hole, not acceptable), down through the bottom,(again not a good idea as far as I am concerned) or aft going out the stern. This might be a practical solution. Plimsol, one of our "posters", has some ideas about this but I loose contact with him as soon as he posts something on my postings. So what do I do? Any one any ideas how to go to and through the stern safely without burning myself or the passengers and what about the through hull. I am getting the floatations in by partly gluing styrofoam to the underside of my floor boards with silicone leaving "adequate" clearing between the bilge and the styrofoam. This seem to work very well up till now. Thought I add this little tidbit to this. Any advice?

Thank you for your support from Australia. You got all my hopes up when I saw I got one reply. But better yours then nothing. Still waiting for Plimsol from just around the corner in the State of Washington. Boat is getting closer and closer to being finished but without a muffler she won't get into the water.
