My daughter backed into a parked car.
The plastic bumper cover is dented. I'd like to pull it off and whack it with a rubber mallet a couple of times.
I see three Phillips screw heads on the inside of the wheel wells, and a couple below the rear hatch. Can this be all?

And please. This is a request for mechanical info, not for comments on Chrysler, minivans, bailouts, Obama, or women drivers.
Thanks!

BTW she hit a 2 year old Cadillac STS! Yes, she contacted it's owner.

I have an '02 Dodge Grand Caravan which might be a match.
I dimpled a back corner bumper and was able to push it out from underneath without removing any parts. IIRC, I used a 2' length of strapping and a deadblow hammer. A heat lamp on the wound would probably have helped.

It'll never look right doing it that way. But you may not want/need it to be factory new ... depends on the van, I guess.

A bumper-repair guy could make it like new for around $100 or less.

Best mini vans going, BTW!

Good luck.

Is it one of the flaky yellow things?
