Hi,

I am looking for a small piece of hardwood from a well known old sailing ship. I enjoy woodturning for a hobby and want to make a pen for a friend of mine who loves old sailing ships. He has several pictures of old sailing racers hung in his office, and enjoys sailing himself. Anyone have some scraps around from a well known old sailing vessel?

I could buy it from you, or turn a pen and send it back to you. Custom and cool.

Thanks for your help.

If you can wait a while, the Banks schooner replica Bluenose II is going up on shore for a massive refit this coming winter...

Not cheap, but more pen blanks than you could shake a stick at.

There's some pieces of the Ark on EBay.
