An elegant Fife schooner, Astor, from Hawaii

Astor was originally a Sydney boat and (IIRC) won the Sydney/Hobart three times. It used to be moored in Rose Bay where my mother used to sail her cadet around her in the late thirties. Here she is on the way to winning the Hobart (Astor, not my mother).
Note the photo caption "That rig made helmsmen very nervous."
