Looking for info on Peterborough Monarch

I have inherited a 1953 Peterborough Monarch from my wifes grandfather. It is in poor shape, but looks to be solid underneath it all. Does anyone know where I can get more info on what this boat originally looked like - I'm sure it did not come with the bright green astro-turf!

I reviewed the latest ACBS Directory and found an individual who has, among many other boats, a 1954 Peterborough Monarch.

The only motorboat I ever owned was 1955 Monarch.I figured it was original except for the sheathing on the outside.I didn't see astroturf any place.

I have more more suggestion.

Regardless of whether you decide to retain the astroturf you must name the boat "PUTT PUTT".
