Snoose has never had radar, Snoose should have radar. I've been putting it off for a couple of reasons; one, broadband radar looks promising but not sure it's there yet. Two, I want to minimize the size of the lump aloft as much as possible mainly for aesthetic reasons (I know, probably not the best reason, safety should trump aesthetics).
So is anyone familiar with broadband radar? If it's not ready for prime time, what is a good standard radar to consider for an 8 knot powerboat in the PNW?
