needed to move boat out of shelter to pour concrete floor so I can finish inclosing for shop.
mobile home axles and hubs(no wheels) on runners worked great! http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid54/pe51a202aaf0e22ff2c5bfb8cabe1da54/fc826699.jpg http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid54/p5629f5ff0f0a8615623e4f2b7eccc409/fc826654.jpg

One of the advantages of a cradle over poppets for at home storage of boats.

What kind of boat is that?

looks good !

i'm going to need something like that sometimes in the future too. what's the best way to get one ? weld it myself ? what size did you use for steel tubes ? where to get the hubs ? is it just a rod through the hub ?

I used mobile home axles uncut already assembled
just welded them under frame of cradle
I was lucky, the length was just right so no cutting and rewelding of axle pipe was needed
they are not hard to find used. mine were free, drug out of the woods behind a friends shop
had to remove hubs to strip brakes out and grease bearings
