As promised, pics of the Hull.
I have filled and sanded most of the screw holes on the near side in the top pic. And as of about half an hour ago, I have filled the remaining screw holes.
The Epoxy, Glass beads, and microfibers sands easily. It seems like a good mix for filling.
I used a router, a roundover bit and a batten to round over the entrance to the CB for glassing.
And I have glassed the transom. This is a small and uncomplicated area, but it's near vertical, so you have to be careful about runs.

I really like your temporary cover! I think more people would attempt to build boats if they didn't think they needed some big fancy shop to build it in. Why be afraid of the elements? It's a boat! it's going to practically live in water! (Yes, yes, I know it should be kept relatively dry while it is being built, but hey tarps are cheap!)

Looks great . I built a boat outside in the dark once, too. Lots of fun. Remember, finishing the hull means that you're 1/3 done with the boat. But, it can now float, so it's officially a boat!

Now there's a particularly pleasing milestone, I assume some sort of celebration was suitably undertaken?? I'm looking forward to seeing her flipped, well done RR.
cheers

I love the cover too, especially the warped tubes on the sides. :)

But ehrrr... don't you have any difficulties with changing moisture levels?

A gap of about 6 inches at the bottom of the cover keeps it all good.

Very happy for you. My first build was a Glen-L topper. Launch day was one of the best in my life. I was also thrilled when the hull was planked, because she magically became a boat. And I built mine outside too. She also taught me how to sail.
