I'm in the process of lofting Whitholtz's 18 foot "Downeaster". Is anyone aware of any anomalies in the plans?

I don't recall any. Having said that, I do vaguely remember thinking there was an inconsistency with one of the dimensions, I believe it was with which scale was the correct one on one of the sheets. I know it was not in the lofting portion though. Where ever it was, it was not a big deal as it was somewhat obvious. (Famous last words) It's been a few years now so I could be all wet too. You will get to a challenging part during the building in the area where the sides meet the bottom meets the keel meets the stem.
You've picked a great design ! Mine continues to impress me.

Forgot to ask what version of the boat you are building.
Runabout or center console ?
I/O/, Inboard, or outboard ?

I built the center console with an I/O. A friend of mine built the center conolse, outboard version. He is in Prides Crossing, MA.
