Does anyone know of a sailboat that was named MISS Q this may have been quite an old boat from HMC.

Answered my own question.
Accordiing to Herreshoff registry MISS Q was a Watchill 15 hull #881 built in 1922 by HMC and was wrecked in the 1938 hurricane, well this could very well be the sad tale as I think I have MISS Q's tiller and socket.
The other day I purchased a tiller that was pretty old with a pretty thick layer of old crackled up varnish on.
I purchased it for my Alerion because I didn't have one. Anyway it had the right tiller socket I needed and I only paid a song for it.
As I was sanding off the crackly old varnish off the tiller I saw on the underside a scribed name MISS Q. This was very exciting for me.
It looks as good as the day it was made White Oak and dimensionally it is perfect to the eye.
The wood seems to quite dry I wonder if I should treat before I varnish it?
