Can you imagine Bob Dylan singing, "Here Comes Santa Claus"? :D

I love Dylan, I hate Xmas. I might have to have this album. :)

I can think of a lot of people I could really annoy with this CD. Could be the all-time perfect gift.

My reaction: OH! MY! GOD!

Marilyn's reaction: Oh. My. God.

I heard this news on the radio......it seems strange, but I think I will have to buy it. The money goes to fight hunger.

I like peter's comment. I have to agree, yet I like to listen anyway. Another example is Niel Young... sings out of tune and sounds great!

Did you ever hear Bruce Springsteen's version of Santa Claus is Coming to Town? It's surprisingly good.

I didn't, but I expect Dylan will actually do a good job. But as an exercise in smashing-the-sacred, it would be hard to beat Hendrix's Star Spangled Banner.

How is "the star spangled banner" sacred?

How is "the star spangled banner" sacred?

Figuratively of course. The literalism of this forum is starting to get tedious.

An amazing career from a guy that can't sing or play guitar.

Yup. Can't stand to listen to the guy since a downstairs neighbor used to play Dylan at high volume for long periods of time.
