EIGER is a Eugene Cornu plan built by Vandernotte, Nantes, 1961.
I would like to share with you our restoration pics which are
updated regularly.
We are 80% through this project with just the interior varnishing
to go.
The restorer is Mike Howett, head shipwright of the Cariad restoration project.

If anyone could shed some light on her history or that of her
designer and builders it would be greatly appreciated.

cheers and enjoy!

EIGER was registered as 10.5 being waterline length,
she is approx 40ft on deck.
Not a lot of info on Eugene Cornu but there is a website/blogsite
OICO which heavily focuses on his designs.
By all accounts he was and still is highly regarded
as well as Vandernotte as a skilled craftsman.
We hope whoever buys her will keep her going for
another 50 years and take her home to the Med!
