Let each citizen cast his own vote. Those who wish a single payer, get one. Those who don't get to stay in the system as it is.

Could we opt out of the taxes as well? Or would you still want to collect that just the same from everyone?

I only want to ask each person if they want health care reform. Those who say know will be kept in the same system we have today.

Those who say yes, will be able to go into the reformed system.

Everyone gets what they want.

It would be interesting to see what the numbers look like after the vote.

Sometimes I think our votes should be public record. If we vote for a president and he does raise/lower our taxes, we are impacted. If we didn't vote for him, we don't get any tax increases, tax reductions, stimulus money, etc.....:)
