BMW-Oracle to use thier current tri... no second boat planned

Hmm. I find that very strange. It will take them a long time to learn to sail this thing to it's optimum, but you'd think that while they were learning on the water that the design team would be learning right along with them?

If they aren't committed to winning this thing what was it all for? Or do they recognize now that the odds of them winning against the Swiss in this kind of boat are slim (and I really don't think there is much chance that they win)?

It has been completely re configured a month or so ago though hasn't it. Effectively ,rebuilt into a different boat.
