'er indoors aka The Queen of All She Surveys is looking for material for next semester's journalism/English/ media studies intake at Uni Lisboa where she teaches for her pains.
She wants nonsensical headlines from verifiable sources.....
example...., from BBC online news...
'Hacked blogger seeks Russia probe' ...uh?

there must be a million out there...... subject immaterial...

I promised I'd Google something but I'd sooner be messin' about on the river... so come on everyone....

HAHAHA... just found this one, though it's a joke ...(or maybe true) not quite what she's looking for but a laugh all the same... Lunatic escapes from asylum, rushes into laundromat and assaults women, then does a runner...
Headline.... NUT SCREWS WASHERS AND BOLTS

Not quite a headline, but a quote from a cop on "Cops" Saturday night:
"The magazine is fully empty"

...also not a headline but memorable-from the 2nd man to walk on the moon, heard on the radio a couple of weeks ago- "When I stepped down the ladder and onto the moon I felt like I was the luckiest man on earth!"

Some of these headlines are meaningless.............some have unintended meanings.
