Yanmar YSE 12 information

I was browsing around the net and came up with this site ,

It may be of interest to anyone with this engine ...I've heard of a few problems and this site discusses a few of them .

The YSE 12 seems to have a few problems ,the lack of an oil filter is unfortunate ,but it was interesting to hear the reason for the oil pressure problem laid out ...pretty much as I had figured , an open pressure relief valve .:D
I wasn't very impressed with lub oil feeding the engine if the rings are worn ,a problem with horizontal diesel layouts !
