Saw it in person yesterday at the Shilshole boatshow. A bit pricey, but it really has it's uses, especially with emergency and rescue orgs.
It has an auxilliary inboard engine that runs hydraulics for the wheels' power.

That would make a nice tender for the tender for Ripley669's "New Boat."
On a perfect smooth hard sand beach it would work. Not in rocks or quicksand.

The tires are pretty big and fat. They claim they work fine on rocks and mud, not sure much of anything would work in quicksand.

For that 19' dinghy. :)
The local dealer lives in West Seattle and keeps one beside the deck at his house. He just steps into it from the deck, drives it down the lawn and out across the beach and out to the mooring where he keeps the big boat.

That's pretty cool, I'm sure I saw something very similar to it on a gadget show a while back. I guess it has its uses just maybe not so much in the recreational world.

Yeah, pretty small, mostly white plastic wedding cakes and running shoes.
Oh, and lots of wake boats with roll bars full of speakers. Those things might become an argument for carrying small weapons on my boat.

Buy a RiB for 10000 and give me 70000 and I'll build you one. maybe.
Next project just got shelved, must have the bits lying around somewhere to knock one up, even on a rigid glass or wood hull...Nifty... I prefer it to the car you can drive into the water and motor about in as in Dutton's Suzuki jeeplet based amphicar......

There are quite a few of those around now ( here). Mostly you see people with beach places buying them but they also get used as an island commuter type boat . Lots of people have island homes or baches( cabins) which are on tidal access only and these things free all that up( rather than mooring plus dinghy plus tramp through mud should the tide be out)
