We drove up to Cowichan Bay for lunch yesterday, it's a short drive but really nice. Cow Bay is a pretty cool place and yesterday was beautiful. When we arrived we noticed it was packed. There was some regatta in progress. The harbour was hopping.

The Maritime Centre always has something on the go...they were raffling off a beautifully done Acorn dinghy

Nice pics!
I've enjoyed anchoring there and exploring the area via kayak and by foot. There's a great estuary just to the west that is lovely to paddle into when the tide is high. The otters are fun!

Cow Bay and Genoa Bay are a great set together. One for anchoring out, the other to go to town!

Loved Cowichan Bay, the island is great place to be.
