Pinkado

Been offered some pinkado. Its a new one on me, and to be honest thought I was having my leg pulled when I first heard the name, but as a timber it seems pretty good

Just wondering if anyone has come across it or worked with, and whats its suitability might be for boaty things??

I'd be using it for all the tarty bits on deck, wheelhouse rebuild and the like
