Today was the annual Boats on the Boardwalk ACBS gathering in Traverse City, Michigan.

Very nice!! Thank you PaulC!!! Is that a canal the boats are in and if so,where does it begin and end. Also, are these all pro restorations or are there some amateur restores in the crowd?

I have enjoyed the shiny mahogany boats but am glad to see at least one rowing boat displayed. Here is my all time Traverse City boat which is usually docked in Greilickville. You gotta love the use of recycled Adirondack chairs. Needless to say this boat was not on display on the boardwalk.

The boats are on the Boardman River which snakes through the region. It finally flows through downtown Traverse City before it empties into West Traverse Bay. The boardwalk here ends a few hundred feet from the bay.

A lot of the owners have binders of their boats story and how they got to where they are today. I don't know how many were done professionally.

Is that a canal the boats are in and if so,where does it begin and end. Also, are these all pro restorations or are there some amateur restores in the crowd?
