If even 10% of this is true, it's pretty scary.

Why do the conservatives on the list fall for this stuff? And why don't they immediately go look into it to find out whether it's correct?

I would never read the list but ...

Vote on a 1100 page bill that no one has read. Pretty poor way to run a government.

This list has been emailed to me by two separate email list groups that I belong to. Sad thing is that when people see it they believe it like it was gospel.

No one?

Why do conservatives make generalizations and then fall for this? And why don't they immediately go look into it to find out whether it's correct?

I glanced at it, and just about peed myself when I saw that they'd even managed to get in a reference to ACORN.

:D:D:D

But *sigh* I suppose some intellectually challenged RW nutjob somewhere will believe it.

She makes typos almost as often as she corrects others.

My standard reply to people who send me e-mails about 10 year old bills that have already died and other bogus crap about what congress is doing.

there are several health care bills proposed right now. They have gone to committee, we will have to wait to see what will come out of the committee.

My ironymeter is pegging :DYou must have the extra-heavy-duty model. Mine burned out long ago; I think it was when the Republicans in Congress started talking about fiscal responsibility.
